Books. Some grow your mind. Some stretch your heart. Some change your life. And some just strip you bare. Some do them all.
This is that book ~ One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp.
Ann confesses that life is all too often dark. That God can be hard to find. Yet He is good. And we feel His goodness as we join the universe in singing strains of thanksgiving.
Her challenge is to count one thousand things for which to say thanks. I’m overwhelmed but not worried. God has blessed me in more than ten billion ways. I just need to play hide and seek to mark the first thousand.
