Thanks for sharing that cookie recipe - I mean video. The cookie recipe looked good too when it came up under the “you might also like” but thankfully I don’t have the ingredients in the house!
But thanks for the song - It’s affirming to see the rain wash away the sin. And what struck me is that I’m more than all that and I am all that, too. Because all of that stuff is what God uses to make me more…if that makes any sense!

I’m glad you liked the video. When the rain begins to wash away the past sin, it brings tears to my eyes. God has forgiven me and I need to continue to learn to forgive myself.
And to your point, what a powerful truth. God does do more than erase my past sin, He actually redeems it and works it for good. Only God could do that!!!
I’m praising Him today!

“I care about you.”
“You belong to me.”
Those are some of the things I would like to hear God say to me, especially in moments of feeling feelings that make me want to eat.
I know these things are true, but really hearing those things would affirm to me the I am more, and life is more than mere existense, as the song says. Great thoughts today Kim-thanks as always:)
The video is so powerful. I have experienced many of those same fears , sins, and emotions. But I am more than those, I have been remade. Praise God!

Love that song! I constantly struggle with knowing vs doing though. So hard to get out of the vicious cycle when I try doing it myself. God’s promises are good and His Word is true. Reading this book, I am comforted and learning but I often feel like the person James talks about, who looks in the mirror and forgets who they are when they walk away……..

What a powerful video to go with the song. I loved the cross section of people and ages. Male AND female. We ALL struggle in THIS world. It helps to see that cross section! And the words on the blackboard. AND the words to the song are something I’d like to have engraved into my brain!!!
To answer your question: I’d like to hear God say, “You are not alone.” He tells me that often, but I forget sometimes!
